Quectel’s RM520N series are 5G Sub-6 GHz modules designed specifically for IoT/eMBB applications. They utilize 3GPP Release 16 technology and support both 5G NSA and SA modes. The RM520N series uses an M.2 package and is compatible with Quectel’s RM50xQ series 5G modules, EM06 LTE-A Cat 6 modules, EM12/EM12xR/EM120K series Cat 12 modules, and EM160R-GL Cat 16 module, facilitating customer migration from LTE-A to 5G.

The RM520N series modules are industrial-grade modules, suitable only for industrial and commercial applications.

The RM520N series covers almost all major global operators. It integrates a multi-constellation high-precision positioning GNSS receiver (supporting GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and QZSS), simplifying product design while significantly improving positioning speed and accuracy.

The RM520N series incorporates rich network protocols, integrates multiple industry-standard interfaces, and supports various drivers and software functions (such as USB/PCIe drivers for Windows, Linux, and Android operating systems), greatly expanding its application scope in IoT and eMBB fields, such as industrial routers, home gateways, set-top boxes, industrial laptops, consumer laptops, industrial PDAs, ruggedized industrial panel PCs, video transmission, and digital signage.
